Charm's dam, My World Holly, was purchased over three years ago in partners with one of my very dearest friends, Mary Hubbard. Holly was in foal and Mary was to get Holly and I was to get the baby. Of course, we were hoping for a jennet. Holly foaled a nice little dark brown jack that year. Mary insisted that I keep Holly and try again. This time we bred her to our little jack, Pepper. Once again Holly foaled a dark brown jack..this one we named Chaps, My Ass! Mary talked me into trying one last time...this time no matter what the outcome I was sending her jennet home and this time we bred her to our spotted herd sire, Indy. Of course I was praying for a spotted jannet but we never dreamed that she would foal a dark no light points jennet and we are thrilled. Thanks to Brasstown Brayers Farm for naming this perfect little girl.
